Data Privacy
1. General information
The protection and security of personal data is our highest priority. We comply with the legal requirements of the DSGVO and inform you here about our procedures for collecting and processing personal and non-personal data.
2. Your rights and contact details
Due to data protection regulations you are entitled to the following rights:
You may at any time request information about which personal data concerning your person we are processing (the initial information is free of charge, whereas subsequent information may in certain cases trigger a cost contribution obligation on your part);
You may at any time request the correction of outdated or incorrect personal data concerning you or the deletion of your data;
You may at any time object to the use of your personal data on the grounds of particular confidentiality interests relating to your person which are worthy of protection.
You may request that your data be transferred to third parties in accordance with the requirements of data protection law.
If you wish to exercise one or more of these rights, please contact us by e-mail: keltenmuseum@keltenmuseum.at or alternatively by post: Keltenmuseum Hallein, Pflegerplatz 5, 5400 Hallein.
3. Logging of e-mail traffic
To ensure adequate information and system security and to detect malware, we store protocol data on e-mail traffic. If you send an e-mail to one of our addresses, the following data is logged: E-mail and IP address of the recipient and sender, number of recipients, subject, date and time of receipt by the server, file name of any attachments, size of the message, risk classification for spam and delivery status. In a first step, e-mails are checked purely automatically. Only if there is a suspicion of a risk to the security of the IT systems are individual e-mails manually checked by responsible persons. In addition, we process your personal data in connection with e-mails, if necessary, for the duration of the entire business relationship and beyond that in accordance with the statutory storage and documentation obligations.
4. Data security
The security of your data in our systems is of great concern to us. Our aim is to manage your data with the utmost care and to take all necessary technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data from loss and misuse.
Access to almost all our websites is secured via HTTPS if your browser supports SSL. This means that communication between your terminal device and our servers is encrypted.
5. Web analysis
From the log files generated on the web server on the basis of visitor requests, graphical and text-based statistics are generated with a free web analysis software. In the process, personal data such as the IP address is anonymised.
6. Facebook
We use social plugins ("Plugins") on our website from the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). The plugins can be identified by one of the Facebook logos (white "f" on blue tile or a "thumbs up" sign) or are marked with the addition "Facebook Social Plugin".
If you call up a website of our Internet offer that contains such a plugin, your browser will establish a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser and integrated into the website by it. We therefore have no influence on the extent of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and can therefore only inform you of what we are doing with it according to our state of knowledge: By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that you have called up the corresponding page of the offer. If you are a member of Facebook and logged into your account, Facebook can assign your visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, e.g. if you press the Like button or make a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. If you are not a member of Facebook, it is still possible for Facebook to find out and save your IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymised IP address is stored in Germany. The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by Facebook, as well as the relevant rights and setting options for protecting the privacy of users, can be found in Facebook's data protection information: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php;
If you are a member of Facebook and do not want Facebook to collect data about you via this offer and links it with your membership data stored on Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website. You also have the option of blocking Facebook social plug-ins with add-ons for your browser, for example with the "Facebook Blocker". Further settings and objections to the use of data for advertising purposes are possible within the Facebook profile settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings
7. Links to other websites

8. Update of this data protection declaration
We reserve the right to adapt this data protection declaration to technical developments and legal changes as required.
